Critical Essay - Stage 1.

Is there ever a time when remixing or reusing someone else's work is actually a better response to the rhetorical situation or a better use of creative energy than starting over from scratch and creating something totally new and original?

  1. I think you're off to a really good start here. Your thesis is definitely arguable and specific and your points are organized well. I like how you've branched out of merely literature and incorporated music and art,and incorporated classic pieces such as the Bible as well as modern things like Youtube. I think you will have a lot to discuss and expand on.

  2. You have a very good thesis to start with. It's arguable and clearly lays out the course of your essay. Your outline is very good, and it really looks like your essay is almost completely set up and ready to be written. I like the diversity of the topics that you cover; length and subject matter shouldn't be a problem for you at all.

  3. The structure of your essay is clearly laid out and a very good start for arguing your thesis. I think the thoroughness of the supporting evidence you have will make your argument extremely well-defended. I think the only trouble you might run into would be incorporating everything you want to talk about within the limitations of this essay. Good luck.
